LDR Sensor Module
Product Details
The LDR (Light Dependent Resistor) Sensor Module is a simple and effective sensor designed to detect light intensity in the surrounding environment. The module uses an LDR photoresistor whose resistance changes based on the amount of light falling on it. When the light level increases, the resistance decreases, and when the light level decreases, the resistance increases.
The module converts these changes into analog and digital output signals, allowing easy integration with microcontrollers such as Arduino, Raspberry Pi, ESP8266, and ESP32. It usually includes an onboard comparator and adjustable potentiometer, which lets users set the light detection threshold according to their project requirements.
Due to its simple design, low cost, and easy interfacing, the LDR module is widely used in automatic lighting systems, smart street lights, light-activated alarms, and IoT-based automation projects.
